Drowners:Drowners Review

Drowners are a band, fronted by the sex god that is Matt Hitt and formed in the US of A. They released their debut album, funnily enough named "Drowners".
Here is my review of the album..

Drowners debut album is defiantly a hit (or should I say Matt Hitt). This album is defiantly more indie than rock but features elements of artists such as arctic monkeys to the killers. In this album we see a solid upbeat track listing. The album features hardly any slow paced songs which is either hit or miss but in this case it definetly works. Nobody wants to start crying to another band now do we ....
Being a debut album, Drowners needed to showcase what skills they have and boy they have skills! One of my favourite songs has to be "Unzip Your Harrington".
In terms of publicing the album hmmm maybe the lead singer having a cheeky Instagram piccy with Alexa Chung helped? Never the less this album is brilliant and I can not wait to hear more from this fantastic band!

8/10 (only because if I gave it a 10, how could they improve? Maybe more range of song types on the next album pls)

Drowners are going to support Peace as they tour around the UK!
Sadly they will not support them for all of the tour dates :(
Check out their website and find out more http://drownersband.com
Let me know if you like them!!
