Circa Wavin

So a new school year/college year, a new set of bands i will listen to and become obsessed with. Now i've started college i've had to ditch the 'obsessed with' term and now i will call it the 'yeh they are a decent band'. Welcome to the new phase.

New bands are coming out of nowhere especially after festival season. My new fav is Circa Waves, a Liverpool band who sound like swim deep minus the floating in space feeling you get when you listen to them for about 5 hours. Circa Waves (www,circawaves,com) released the new single 'So Long' last week and it has been growing on me since then.

Circa Waves music isn't hard rock, it isn't sweet/mgmt music, its a mix which is what is needed in a society where a person can explore different music tastes with just a click on a mouse. Circa Waves have also released a single for free download on the website!

If you are going to watch the 1975 when they tour, you can catch circa waves as the support act! Some even say the support act can be better than the main act. I will leave that thought with you...

See the tour dates for Circa Waves this year on their website (I'm going to the Manchester venue and it came to £24 for 2 tickets) I cant wait!
