Supermarket Sweep

Grab those shopping bags, bags for life, cereal boxes...fashion has gone from Rodeo Drive to Butchers Corner and your local cereal isle. Chanel recently did an ad campaign based around a supermarket. If only it was socially acceptable to go to Tesco and walk round in LBD or super mini skirts. But what does this all mean? From my point of view i can see that fashion is going above and beyond to stand out in print campaigns and that designers want to branch out the target audience, make sure that everybody feels welcome by the brand. This is probably because many people feel put off when they walk into a designer shop and the workers often make them feel uncomfortable. One thing they should teach designer shop workers is to not judge somebody by what they wear.

Anyways, its pretty hard to find clothing that is "supermaket style" so I would suggest visiting David & Goliath
